Nigerian rapper MI (real name Jude Abaga) and his wife Eniola Mafe recently opened up about their experiences with health issues. On September 22, 2022, the couple exchanged vows in Lagos.
They admitted that they suffer from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that is common in children but can persist into adulthood. Symptoms of ADHD include difficulty concentrating, impulsive behavior, and hyperactivity.
In an interview on the Aproko Doctor podcast, the two discussed how they prioritize clear communication and understanding when managing their health.

Mayf, who was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 19, said he was affected by ADHD as a student.
Talking about how she has dealt with mental illness, she said: It is actually you. It’s really about how you think, how you accept the world, how you accept rejection, and everything else. For me, it was to make myself aware of all the things that seemed meaningless to me. School was also affected. I can’t collect my thoughts. ”
The Ace rapper elaborated on his experience with the condition, saying in part: It was hard for me to read during class, probably due to my lack of concentration. If I was really interested in something artistic, I would get very good grades, even if school suffered for it.
“By the time I got to college, I knew I was the cause of my ADHD, but I still couldn’t connect the two dots. I think it was in our relationship when Eni explained it to me, so I googled it and it felt like a weight off my shoulders. It was part of my life’s journey and now I can look back at some of those things differently.
He added, “For me, that’s what gave me so much. Because it’s where I go, where I love, where I create, but also where I want to understand most.” is.”
