The Top 10 Celebrities Who Rocked The Red Carpet’s Best Outfits At The 2023 Met Gala

This year’s theme, ‘In Honor of Karl’, pays tribute to the life and career of Karl Lagerfeld, a formidable and often controversial designer who transformed some of fashion’s most illustrious Maisons. It contrasts with last year’s theme, which leaned toward Gilded Age opulence. When Lagerfeld died in 2019 at the age of 85, he was still in charge of Chanel and Fendi, where he led design for more than 50 years, as well as his own eponymous label. It was the same.
During his decades as creative director, Lagerfeld became identified with Chanel.

The first Monday in May 2023 was Met Gala Day. At an event honoring the late great Karl Lagerfeld, celebrities paid tribute to the designer in a variety of ways. Some wore pieces inspired by his aesthetic as he reinterpreted some of his classic works.

One of the night’s best outfits was by Anok Yai and Prabal Gurung who played with tulle, crystals and the most beautiful silhouettes. She paired the little dress with edgy sunglasses and silky opera her elbow-length gloves.

3. Michaela Coel of Schiaparelli
Michaela Coel was one of the organizers of the event, so she had a big night. Because of this, she had to look great on the red carpet. For the occasion, the actress and director donned a Schiaparelli gown embellished with 130,000 crystals.

Rihanna consistently ranks among Met Gala attendees for the best outfits, and 2023 didn’t disappoint us either. The singer chose Valentino’s stunning white haute couture her ball gown with a floral headpiece that referenced Camellia, the iconic Chanel. flower.

There were many monochrome outfits on the Met Gala red carpet, but one of our favorites was actress Camila Morrone’s stunning Rodarte dress. The dress had dramatic train and cloak elements and was composed of white lace and black velvet.

It’s always nice to see fashion houses honoring each other. This topic gave many examples. A perfect mashup of Versace and Chanel, the outfit worn by Anne Hathaway was one of our favorite interpretations of this.

Lily Aldridge consistently wears easy chic. Her 2023 Met Her Gala ensemble reflects just that, with Oscar de la Renta’s designer adding her own flair to Karl Lagerfeld’s work. Her black gown featured a pink train and eye-catching shoulder ribbons.

Allison Williams chose to wear pieces by Patto to reference some of Karl’s early moments.
She wore a dramatic and elegant bright orange satin dress with black opera gloves and a complementary headband. It had a large bow on her shoulder and a statement belt.
