Davido Registers Massive Success With His ‘Timeless Concert’. SEE HIGHLIGHTS
Two years after the ‘A Decade Of Davido’ event in Lagos, Nigerian Afrobeat superstar and label head Davido is back in the city that never sleeps with ‘TimelessConcert’.
Hosted by Mr. Macaroni and actress KieKie at the iconic Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), the concert was a much-anticipated diversion from his world tour.
The night kicked off with a performance by current star Klopp carving out space for sound on an ornately decorated and beautifully lit stage. Stars such as Khaid, Majeeed, Spyro, Odumodublvck and Starboy Terri captivated the audience with many anthems. Iyanya sang his hit “Mr. Oreo” before a huge crowd, and May D and B-Red also performed some of their timeless classics.
Amidst the crowded performance, David’s entry was greeted with raucous applause from his supporters. entertained them with songs from their ever-expanding hit list. , “Feel” and other hits from his “Timeless” album.
Asake, Mayorkun and The Cavemen joined David on stage and performed their respective singles to thunderous applause.
