Nigerian burgeoning singer Spyro has penned an emotional open letter to his mentor, the late Sound Sultan.
Spyro recently recalled all the good deeds Sound Sultan has done for him and acknowledged their significant contribution to his music career.
He also posted about how he (Spyro) misses his mentor and can’t count his blessings without him.
The singer also expressed regret that Sound Sultan wasn’t alive to witness his success, but thanked him for his guidance over the years.
he said. Today I thought about how you fed me, clothed me, received me when no one was in a hurry to return.
“I remember the night we were supposed to go to an event. I went up to his room and unloaded a cloth for me to wear.
“I wish you could come here and see everything that’s going on. I’m proud of you and sad that you’re not here right now.
“Thank you for what you’ve taught me and what you’ve done for me… Until we meet again, joke with power.”
We may recall that the late singer Sound Sultan passed away on July 11, 2021 in the United States after a long battle with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.
