Up-and-coming Ghanaian Afro-fusion artist Gyakie has teamed up with North London rap risers JBEE for his latest single ‘Scar’.

“Scar” is a powerful and emotional R&B cut with Gyakie’s intense flow bringing a drill beat crafted by Sosa featuring JBEE to life. Gyakie tells the story of a love gone wrong from both sides, where she represents pain and he centers around doubts and insecurities. Both artists provide hard-hitting lyrics juxtaposed with soft melodies featured throughout the verses.
The juxtaposition in “Scar” follows visuals in which both Gyakie and JBEE talk about their respective sides of the love story, and finally, red tones are used throughout, depicting the love and pain of the stories that are characteristic throughout “Scar”. represents.
