Plus Size Model: The UAE Is The Latest Market For Plus-size Lifestyle Wear Brand MULU.

MULU, a lifestyle fashion company catering exclusively to plus-sized women, announced today the opening of a new office in Dubai as part of its intention to expand in the MEA region.
The Netherlands is home to fashion label formerly known as Canessa, which launched its e-commerce business in 2018. The company sells its products worldwide and its products are popular in the North American and European markets. Due to the growing demand for plus size clothing in the Middle East and Africa, MULU recently moved its headquarters to Dubai.
For MULU’s on-the-ground operations, the new Dubai office provides a prime location to help the company establish a local and regional footprint.

To meet growing customer demand in the region and Africa, MULU has also established a warehouse to serve as a regional hub of operations. This warehouse serves as her second location for the brand. To expand its reach and better meet customer demands, MULU plans to open a retail store in Dubai this year.

According to the latest statistics, 42% of women in Saudi Arabia and 31% of women in the UAE are now plus size or larger. Meanwhile, a key problem in the region is finding the right clothes for plus-size women.
