Easy Dirty Rice – Incredibly delicious one-pot rice made from scratch with aromatics, creole spices, ground beef, chicken liver and bacon. Even if you don’t like liver, you’ll love this crazy delicious Creole classic!

No, it’s not dirty 😉. I won’t do it to you, my lovely peep. But your name is interesting. Dirty rice is a classic soul food that’s packed with flavor and texture and guaranteed to level up your rice game.

As with most soul foods, ingenuity can transform what you have into big, bold flavors. And what better way to use chicken liver? Ground beef and bacon round out the flavor. You can skip the bacon, but why?

What is dirty rice?

The name may be confusing if you’ve never heard of it before. But it originated in southern Louisiana as pure soul food. A delicious blend of white rice, spices, spices, and small pieces of chicken liver, gizzards, ground beef and sausage.
