Skyface SDW Is Apple Music’s First Up Next Artist In Ghana
Rapper and songwriter Skyface SDW, whose real name is Solomon Boachie Adubofour, has been announced as the first Apple Music artist to join Ghana’s new Up Next artist development program.

Born and raised in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti state in southern Ghana, Skyface SDW is a proud member of the Asaka Boys, a rap collective that pioneered the Asaka (Ghanaian drill) by fusing British and American drills. Heavily influenced by the late rapper Pop Smoke.
