DJ Mensah Foundation Commissions Library Project For Ayiresu Basic School

The Mensah Foundation, a non-profit charity owned by award-winning Ghanaian disc jockey DJ Mensah, has commissioned an ultra-modern library at Aires D/A Basic School.
Aires D/A Basic School is located in the Autu Senya district of central Ghana. The library was named ‘Afia Aboraa Library’ after the late mother of DJ Mensah, who passed away in 2022.
DJ Mensah and his team, made up of entertainment personalities such as singer Mr. Drew and Sarkcess Team, were in school to commission the project on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. The colorful inauguration ceremony was also attended by Opanyin Kwame Amoquandoh, his Opanyin Kwame Amoquandoh, the opinion leader, Ayiresu’s deputy chief, Justice Mensah, and a teacher.
A renovation project started in 2020 but was canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Ghana. However, the project was completed this year.
The library is well stocked with learning materials, especially EPP Books. Also supporting the renovation project is Ghanafest Canada in partnership with YOU AT HEART.
The Mensah Foundation funded the renovation project as part of DJ Mensah’s strong commitment to giving back to society.
