Top Hollywood Actresses Jada Pinkett, Queen Latifah, Tiffany Hadish And Regina Hall To Storm Ghana For ‘Girls Trip 2’

Top Hollywood actresses Jada Pinkett, Queen Latifah, Tiffany Haddish and Reginal Hall will be in Ghana to film the sequel to Girl Trip.

Tracy Oliver, co-writer of the 2017 film, has confirmed that a sequel is in development and will be filmed on location in Ghana. It’s in development and will see the original cast return – this time for a trip to Afrokera, Ghana.

“It’s officially happening. I can say that,” Oliver said. “They’re all coming home. No one else knows this. [and Girls Trip producer] Will Packer might kill me, but we’re trying to set it up in Ghana,” she added.

She said the film will see four girls going on a trip to Ghana for Afrokera.

Oliver has yet to submit a script, so the movie is still a bit away, but there’s no question it’ll hit the screens, and Ghana is a favorite location for now.

The first Girls Trip was a box office success, grossing $140 million worldwide on a budget of $20 million. Malcolm D. Lee directed a comedy centered around her four gal buddies traveling to the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans.
