Ghanaian highlife star Visa Kuday met with Madame Harriet Thompson, the British High Commissioner for Ghana, at an event in Ghana, United Kingdom.
The Diaspora Engagement New Year Event saw many smart individuals across the creative arts sector network working together to find new ways to strengthen bilateral ties.
One of the program’s guest artists, Bisa Kdei, had the opportunity to share his thoughts with the diaspora community on how to grow Ghanaian music in the UK and vice versa.
Speaking in an interview with a bystander at the event, he said the involvement was strategic and fruitful as he was looking to improve as an artist.
“First of all, the event was fun, especially with some members of the Diaspora. I learned new things in my interactions with them. I hope it helps,” he said.
When asked about when the new album will be released, Bisa Kdei said the album is ready and will be released in the next few weeks with some exciting features.
“I’ve prepared a lot of surprises for the fans, so keep an eye out for my album. I have no doubt it will be one of the best albums he’s ever released,” he said.
