The annual Abrynz Style and Fashion Awards 2022 presentation was held on December 16, 2022 at the Kampala Serena Hotel with the theme of ‘The Awakening’.

An exceptional selection of seasoned nominees and a star-studded guest list kicked off the highly anticipated evening with a red carpet extravaganza of glitz and talent.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on the fashion industry, with fashion luminaries and the wider fashion community of the general public coming together to recognize and honor notable individuals for this contribution.
This year’s category included representatives from the wider fashion community, with many Ugandan and foreign celebrities attending to celebrate fashion.

The ‘Most Stylish Music Videos’ category honors singers’ stylistic efforts to produce visually appealing music videos, while categories such as ‘Emerging Fashion Brands’ highlight new and outstanding fashions that have made a name for themselves in the industry. emphasized the brand.

The Abrianz Style and Fashion Awards is an African fashion awards show that honors members of the fashion industry including fashion designers, stylists, hair and make-up artists, media professionals and influencers from the African continent and beyond. Since the opening ceremony in 2013, the event has been held annually in Uganda. ASFA is a night full of glitz and glamor on Africa’s largest red carpet, attracting top-notch guests from across the African continent to truly celebrate fashion and style.

ASFA Category Evolution An exception to this rule is the Lifetime/Style Fashion Icon Achievement Awards, where two trophies are awarded to both Ugandan and Continental winners. The candidate is selected by popular vote, with the public getting his 30% of the vote and the Awards Academy jury getting his remaining 70%.
