Wizkid Promises New Show After Failed Accra Show

Ghanaian fans were outraged that superstar musician Wizkid didn’t headline his Accra show despite tweeting hours before the event. The Afro-Her Beats star was scheduled to perform at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 10, 2022, alongside R2Bees, King Promise, and other Ghanaian artists.
Fans of the “Ojuelegba” singer were reportedly expecting a two-hour performance after paying 3,200Gc ($280 to over $2000) for the table. Several fans on Twitter waited until the morning and were disappointed, citing problems such as poor lighting, poor acoustics, and poor organization as reasons for the show’s failure.
