Year-end lists are rolling out, and the Nigerian artist has already won, with several albums making it into Rolling Stone magazine’s famous 100 Best Albums of the Year list.
American magazine Rolling Stone has released a list of 100 albums and three Nigerian albums made it onto the 2022 list, all above number 50.
An ascending list of albums released this year by artists around the world gave the stamp of approval to albums by Wizkid, Asake and Cruel Santino.
Wizkid Love more, less ego The album was number 26 and Asake’s album was number 26. Mr. Money With The Vibe The album entered number 39.Cruel Santino’s Subaru Boys Final Heaven He rounded out the trio at number 40.
Wizkid’s album was released on October 28, to mixed opinion from the music industry.Santis subaru boys Released on March 3 to similarly polarizing reviews, Asake debuted in Mr. Money With The Vibe It was released on September 7th.
Interestingly, these albums ranked higher than albums by Lizzo, Drake and 21 Savage collaborations, Quavo and Takeoff, Giveon, and other notable artists.
