Highlife and Afro fusion sensations Akwaboah have kept their promise of releasing bangers one after another from now until the end of 2023, releasing a new single titled ‘Picture’.‘.
The new song features a first-time collaboration with award-winning rapper Medikal.
Akwaboah is currently enjoying great success during the World Cup season as his Black Stars anthem titled ‘Bring back the Love’ remains a fan favorite among football and music lovers.
The picture is a blend of high life and Afrobeat notes, and Medical definitely does it justice with a catchy punchline.
The song alludes to the tendency to capture life’s important and joyful moments in pictures and share them with friends and family, mostly via social media. I have no doubt it will.
Akwaboah has been tight-lipped about the exact release date of the Lighthouse Album, only saying it will definitely come out early next year.
Remember that Akwaboah surprised fans last year by releasing a Lighthouse EP instead of an album? According to him, this was because he had a solid 15 tracks of his ready, but his fans and music lovers wanted every track on both his EP and subsequent albums. To properly evaluate it, he had to split it in two.
