Nigerian Singer, Tems Wins Best New Act at the 2022 Soul Train Awards

Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, named Best New Artist of 2022 Soul Train Award. The songwriter was nominated for honors alongside fellow Nigerians CKay and Fireboy.

The awards ceremony was held Saturday at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

Beyoncé, meanwhile, was the night’s biggest winner, with her album “Reinassance” winning Best Album, Break My Soul Song of the Year and “Make Me Say It Again Girl” winning Best Collaboration. See the full list of nominees below. Winners are shown in bold.
