Corruption Watch Wins Two GJA Awards

Corruption Watch investigator Francisca Enchil has been awarded the coveted Investigative Journalist of the Year and Female Journalist of the Year awards by the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards..
The GJA Awards Ceremony was held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Kempinsi Gold Coast Hotel.
Her two award-winning investigative article, Pay or Die: The Agony of Pregnant Women in Hospitals, highlighted violations of the Free Maternal Health Policy by six major health facilities in Ghana.
The award marks Enchil as the first woman to win the GJA’s Investigative Journalist category.
Her documentary was previously nominated for BBC World News’ Comra Dumor Award and was named one of the top 25 finalists for the 2022 West Africa Media Excellence Awards.
