African Artists Feature in Marvel’s ‘Wakanda Forever’ Soundtrack

On Wednesday, November 2nd, Marvel Studios unveiled the tracklist for the music inspired by Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The list includes the names of African artists, mainly from Nigeria and South Africa.
Grammy-winning artist Damini Ogle, popularly known as Burnaboy, featured a solo on the track “Alone.”
Thames performed Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry” solo.

Mavins star Rema was featured on two tracks, Bloody Civilian’s ‘Wake Up’ and Aleman’s ‘Pantera’.
YBNL artist Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly known as Fireboy DML, also contributed the track “Coming back for you.
Nigerian artist Ckay features British songwriter and singer Pink Panteles on the track Anya Miri.
Nwigwes, US rapper Tobechukwu Dubem Nwigwe (Tobe Nwigwe) teams up with his wife Fat on the track “They want it but no.”
South African music stars DBN Gogo, Sinom Solo, Kamo Mufera, Young Stana and Bushiswa also participated on two tracks. “Love & Loyalty (Believe)” x “Jele”

The album will be released on November 4th, ahead of Wakanda Forever, which hits theaters on November 11th.
