Frequently Asked Questions + Substitutions

  1. Can you make this gluten free? Yes, you can use gluten-free flour, but you may need to add a little more flour to preserve the integrity of your cookies
  2. Can I make up for the butter? This is possible, but requires some adjustments. I do not recommend this.
  3. Can you freeze cookie dough? Of course, baking from frozen takes longer and can overcook the outside of the cookies, so it’s actually a good idea to bring them to room temperature before baking.
  4. I don’t have a scale, can I use a measuring cup? Yes, of course, just know that measuring cups aren’t accurate.I highly recommend getting a kitchen scale. they are very cheap.
