The organization also creates a platform for local artists to promote positive values ​​such as tolerance, respect, peace and celebrating African creativity.

This donation is a two-year partnership that will help Surf Ghana build a community recording studio and provide value-added services such as mentorship, music production, development, and business education programs for creators. The partnership will work with the organization’s surfer and skater communities to support a wider creative sector, including music artists and producers who collaborate organically.

Vibrate Studio, a project born out of this collaboration, aims to empower the next generation of creatives.

“Rather than traditional learning, Vibrate Studio aims to empower creatives through community building and mentorship. With its facility in Freedom Skatepark, the Surf Ghana Collective is a community center for young creatives in the heart of Accra city. Spotify is partnering with us to become an exponentially influential center for upskilling and mentoring young people in Ghana. It will greatly help you realize your vision.

Since Spotify officially arrived in Ghana, a series of emerging artists (Moliy, Kofee Bean, Amaarae, Gyakie, Black Sherif, etc.) have been featured on the platform through playlist creation and international market exposure. .
