Popular Nigerian comedian Chukwumeka Emmanuel Ejek, better known as Oga Sabinus, survived a car crash.
The car was wrecked, but the comedian was safe. According to the skit creator, a car rammed his new Mercedes-Benz in Lagos early Sunday morning.
“Safe and sound. Thank you for the phone calls and care,” Sabinus wrote on Instagram about the incident.
Netizens and fans of Oga Sabinus flooded social media to react to the post about his involvement in the accident.
Sabinus said the accident was the result of a drunk driver hitting his car from the opposite lane.

“The only thing I keep saying is that people should avoid drunk driving, you know? This is the first time I’ve seen something like this, like a mess.

He also promised to release a new skit by 2pm today. The comedian on his Instagram Live thanked the well-wishers and assured them they shouldn’t panic.
“For those who are calling, I am getting messages. I am fine. Don’t be afraid.
“We thank God for giving us bad life. So Sabinus is safe, nothing happened to me. I’m fine. Don’t be afraid.
“The one who dies is the one with bad hands, the one with dirty hands. We thank God,” he said.
