The International Commission on Human Rights, a globally respected human rights organization, honored Ghanaian businessman Abu Zain at the 4th Youth World Summit in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad..
This recognition was for his selfless contribution to the socio-economic development of society, which was carefully observed by the IHRC’s local and global offices.
And for his efforts, the businessman was awarded the Medal of Honor.
In a telephone interview from the conference, he said: This is at the heart of our mission, and it underlies all of our corporate investments. Our charity, the Jamila Foundation, has engaged in countless camps in Ghana, many African countries, and parts of Europe and the Middle East.
“Certainly, this honor is just a reminder that my team and I should do more. I really appreciate this recognition.”
The Honorable Abu Zain is now the IHRC Ambassador to Ghana and is always on hand when needed, hand in hand with his fellow sub-Saharan African ambassadors.
