How to make this recipe

  1. Chop the onion and garlic. Wash and dry the turkey legs with paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the spices together. Rub all over turkey leg liberally.
  3. Set the Instant Pot pressure cooker to the Sauté setting. Add the chopped onion and garlic and stir for a few minutes. Add turkey legs and bake for a few minutes.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the Instant Pot to remove the glaze.
  5. Press the manual button on the Instant Pot and set the cook time to 20 minutes on high pressure.
  6. When done, let it release naturally for 10 minutes and quickly release any remaining pressure by turning the top knob to the vent position.
  7. Remove the turkey leg, set it aside, and return the Instant Pot to sauté mode.
  8. Mix 1 teaspoon of kudzu powder and 1 tablespoon of water in a small bowl.
  9. Pour into the Instant Pot and give a quick stir. It will start to thicken after a few minutes. Pour gravy over turkey leg and serve.
